SEPTEMBER 14, 2001
Our President and other persons in high office were present today at the National Cathedral in Washington
D C. The Reverend Billy Graham, who seems to always be there in time of our greatest need, talked and
prayed for us and our nation. President Bush also spoke words of encouragement to all of us who were
listening to him. He left Washington for NY City after the service. He was heavily guarded by the Secret
Service and other law enforcement agencies. The rescuers spirits were lifted and chanted in unison USA!
USA! USA! Watch this news story when it is replayed on the news channels.

SEPTEMBER 19, 2001
The smoke is still rising from the ruins of what was the WTC. Rescue workers are working around the clock
clearing the most monstrous pile of rubble any of us has ever seen. These brave men need all our prayers.
They have to do what many of us could not do. They are still looking at everything and going slowly so as not
to harm anyone who may still be alive, though hope is slowly fading with the missing reaching 5,422. The
mayor of New York said it is highly unlikely any survivors will be found now since they would have been
without water for a week.
Many brave volunteers from states around the country have offered their assistance. As many as 300 sniffer
dogs are in use trying to find the injured and dead. We often forget these loving animals. They will do anything
for the person that loves them. They are also foot soldiers and need your prayers.
The process of stabilizing the part of the Pentagon that the plane crashed into goes on as well. They are
slowly going through all the debris removing bodies and gathering evidence. They will get to the main part of
the airplane wreckage slowly and it is said it may take as long as another 3 weeks to have all the debris and
deceased removed from the site. The total there is now listed as 188. A lady who was badly burned last
Tuesday died yesterday, September 18, 2001.
Pray the Afghanistan rulers and religious leaders decide to hand over Osama Bin Laden for trial. It could save
our country and many others from losing any more lives. We should not blame the Islamic peoples of this
world. I have made friends with many of them on line. They have been gracious and kind. There are Arabic
speaking countries who have been victims of terrorists attacks. No country in this world is immune. Bin Laden
is from evil, not good and he does not represent the majority of the Muslim countries.

The President gave an address this evening to the Congress, Senate and the American people. He asked for
patience and perseverance. The attempt to crush terrorism, wherever it may be, will be a long struggle. Many
families will have a love one not with them during the holiday season that will soon be upon us. The people
who lost their lives will be missed by their family and friends. Many military personnel will be on the seas and in
foreign countries. We must be strong for them and always keep them in our prayers.
The number reported missing and presumed dead mounted to 6,333 today. Many countries are reporting
people missing who were supposed to be in one of the WTC's September 11, 2001.

I hope you watched the fund raising program last night called A Tribute to Hero's. It was a sort of spur of
the moment thing that a lot of very busy stars took time to participate in. The music was uplifting and beautiful.
Watch it if they run it again.
