today the death of a soldier who was
supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Spc. Peter G. Enos, 24, of South
Dartmouth, Mass., died April 9 in
Bayji,
Iraq, when a rocket-propelled grenade
struck his patrol vehicle.  Enos was assigned
to the
Army’s 1st Battalion, 7th Field
Artillery Regiment, 1st Infantry

Sgt. William C. Eckhart, 25, of
Rocksprings, Texas, died April 10, in

Baqubah
, Iraq when he was on an anti-
mortar mission and there was an explosion
of unknown origin.  Sgt. Eckhart was
assigned to the
Army’s 4th Cavalry, 1st
Infantry Division,
Schweinfurt, Germany.

Staff Sgt. Victor A. Rosaleslomeli, 29,
of Westminster, Calif., died April 13 in Iraq
when an
improvised explosive device
exploded near his escort vehicle.  
Rosaleslomeli was assigned to the
2nd
Battalion, 2nd Infantry Regiment, 1st
Infantry Division,
Vilseck, Germany.

Spc. Richard K. Trevithick, 20, of
Gaines, Mich., died April 14 in
Balad, Iraq,
when an
improvised explosive device
exploded near his convoy vehicle.  
Trevithick was assigned to the
Army’s 9th
Engineer Battalion, 2nd Brigade
Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division
,
Schweinfurt, Germany.
Eleven Marines and Army personnel were
killed over the weekend.

The
total number of casualties has risen to
over
700.

There has been no word from the captives of

Mississippi truck driver. His family asks
for everyones prayers.

Pfc Keith M Maupin is still being held by a
little known group that want to exchange him
for Iraqi prisioners.

Our government stated there will be no
negociations with terrorists.

his safe return.

Accident Kills One, Injures Two

BALAD, Iraq -
One 13th Corps Support
Command Soldier was
killed and two were
injured
in a vehicle accident east of al
Qasim
around 6 p.m. April 20.

One of the injured has been evacuated to the
Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in
Germany. The second was treated at a
Coalition medical facility near Talil and
released.

Sgt. 1st Class Bradley C. Fox, 34, of
Orlando, Fla., died April 20 in Landstuhl,
Germany, of injuries sustained on March 14
when his
military vehicle hit an
improvised explosive device
.  Fox was
assigned to the
1st Battalion, 36th
Infantry Regiment, 1st Armored
Division
, Friedburg, Germany.

Staff Sgt. Edward W. Carmen, 27 of
McKeesport, Pa., died April 17, in

track of the tank
he was in broke, the driver lost control
and the tank rolled off the bridge.
 Staff
Sgt. Carman was assigned to the
Army’s
2nd Battalion, 12th Armored Regiment,
1st Cavalry Division
, Fort Hood, Texas.

The Department of Defense announced
today a
change in the status of a soldier
serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom from
duty status - whereabouts unknown to
captured.

Pfc. Keith M. Maupin, 20, of Batavia,
Ohio, was declared captured on April 16.

On April 9, Maupin and
Sgt. Elmer C.
Krause
, 40, of Greensboro, N.C., were
categorized as duty status - whereabouts
unknown when individuals using
rocket-
propelled grenades and small arms fire
attacked their convoy
.  Both soldiers were
assigned to the Army Reserve’s 724th
Transportation Company, from Bartonville,
Ill.

Krause’s status remains unchanged
because his whereabouts remain unknown.  
Efforts continue to obtain the successful and
safe return of both individuals.
